Cosplay Panel

Calling all Anime and gaming fans. Are you interested in learning about the world of cosplaying? Then come join DePaul graduate Anne Marie Chua Lee as she discusses just that.
Thursday January 21st, Student Center Room 325 at 6:00 PM
Here's a little info on her:
Anne Marie Chua Lee (a.k.a. RedPikachu) is a life long gamer and anime fan. She started sewing in 1995 and became a part of the cosplay community in 2002. Since then, she has attended over 30 conventions in costume and grew into an award-winning cosplayer. After graduating from DePaul, she and her cosplay partner, Renee Werth (a.k.a. AllStarAlice), started an online business called RedStar Costumes and Clothing. RedStar designs original clothing and creates custom costumes, which include wigs, props, and acessories. Today, the business is growing, and they actively participate in conventions across the country as artists, panelists, and costume competition judges.
This event is also sponsored by DePaul's Asian American Studies Program:

On the 10th week of every quarter, we have the general meeting at JMAC. This is an especially important meeting for members because it is you who decide and give input on what we do the following quarter.
What do we discuss exactly?
- Likes/dislikes about the quarter showings
- Likes/dislikes about the social events
- Volunteers for bringing in showings next quarter
- Reviewing and voting on a running series for next quarter
- Suggestions for group outings and events
If you cannot attend the meeting, you can always join our forums and post comments and/or suggestions. We welcome constructive criticism and always appreciate help!
We will be meeting in room 314A at the student center in LPC from 5 to 9 pm November 16th.
