  • Registration is first come, first serve
  • There will be 40 members for Jmac and DeFrag's team, once you have been registered you will be divided into two teams of 20
  • If you register after the 40 people slots have been filled, you will put on a wait list. If someone who is part of the 40 first members to register cannot play in the tournament, people from the wait list will be accepted onto the Jmac or DeFrag team
  • The event will most likely be all day on Saturday February 7th, before you register, make sure you have no commitments on this day
  • There is a registration fee, $10. This fee is subject to change, but covers the price of your T-shirt for the event
  • Food and drinks will be provided for FREE
  • At the event, you will be required to sign a waiver
  • If you have serious health concerns, please understand that dodgeball is a physical activity and you will be playing at your own risk
  • You will also be asked to sign a form stating that you have read the rules for the tournament and understand them (this paperwork will be passed out at the first Jmac meeting of winter quarter. If you cannot make this meeting and wish to play, contact myself or a member of the Jmac board)

Here is the webpage where you can register: defrag.depaul.edu/deball

If you would like to purchase a Jmac dodgeball T-shirt, but are not playing during the tournament, you may still purchase a T-shirt. Please keep in mind that the number of T-shirts we order will be limited! The T-shirt sizes will be unisex sizes. If you know that you would like a dodgeball Z T-shirt, please send an e-mail to dpujmac @ gmail.com requesting one. Include your T-shirt size in the e-mail.

Website Update
Expected Downtime

Medic!
The site will go down for maintenance on December 5th. [Edit 12/22/08] It seems they waited until 12/20 to do it, but anyways, we back up. I've been informed that the server is going to be taken down, but the good news is that we're moving to a shiny new better server. I've also been informed why we've had a long downtime during the summer.

Posted by: Luthyr on Saturday, November 15, 2008 (17:39:30)
On the 10th week of every quarter, we have the general meeting at JMAC. This is an especially important meeting for members because it is you who decide and give input on what we do the following quarter.

What do we discuss exactly?
- Likes/dislikes about the quarter showings
- Likes/dislikes about the social events
- Volunteers for bringing in showings next quarter
- Reviewing and voting on a running series for next quarter
- Suggestions for group outings and events
- We will have punch and pie*

If you cannot attend the meeting, you can always join our forums and post comments and/or suggestions. We welcome constructive criticism and always appreciate help!

We will be meeting in room 314A at the student center in LPC from 5 to 9 pm November 17th.

After concluding the general meeting, we will finish the 2nd season of Sayonara Zetsuba Sensei and then watch the first OVA.

*There will be no punch and pie.
